Discover the Silk Road

The Silk Road evokes images of an era where historic exchanges took place, where cultures and people intertwine. Join us as we begin in Hong Kong, then Beijing, travelling to Lanzhou and then continuing westward all the way across to Kashgar, with a highlight being a visit to the famous Sunday Bazaar. (details subject to change!)
- When: approximately mid-September to early-October 2009
- Departing from: Sydney International Airport
- Flying to: Hong Kong
- Included in cost: Lodging, food, all transport within China
- Travel documents required: A passport that is valid for at least 6 months and has at least 10 blank pages. You can obtain extra blank pages from the Australian Passport agency in Sydney.
- Areas to be visited: Beijing, Langzhou, Xiahe, Dunhuang, Turpan, Urumqi, Kashgar.
